The Shop Around the Corner

As you may have seen from this blog before, {here here and here}
That I am a princess.
No, not a prissy, do everything for me kind of princess
{See this post here}
I am actually a princess. . .

I do princess parties for a company here in Utah.
I was super duper sad that they wouldnt be coming with me to Iowa
So....
I decided to start my own Princess Party business!
Yes yes, its going to be A LOT of work, but it will be so fun!
I will be able to work my own hours so my Paisley time wont be affected
and I will be able too have fun while making a few extra dollars as well.
I am so excited!!
I've started all the initial plans but would LOVE some input from my awesome readers.
What should my business be called?
Who is YOUR favorite princess?
Any advice on marketing? Or anything for that matter.
Any suggestions where I can find AWESOME costumes?
I had my Snow White one made for me and would like to do something like that again.
I am just giddy with anticipation.
Thoughts? Ready... GO!

This is so exciting! I hope you are successful! I don't know much about starting a business so I don't have any tips!

Love this idea! Good luck Lauren! Tip: if you do the girl from Brave don't use real arrows at the parties.

My favorite Disney princess is Snow White. It was really clear through your posts how much you loved this job. It's awesome you came up with such an awesome idea to keep doing it!

Will you make the costumes or buy them?

:D I love this idea!
You must fit Belle into your cast of princesses. She's my favorite.
I've never started/owned my own business, but I imagine you'll want to get a lot of really good references from your clients in Utah. Get a website built (with quality photos of your princess options and maybe a vlog so people can see your personality?) and business cards that refer people to it. Maybe start with some special deals for first time customers in Iowa? You're obviously passionate about it, that's one of the most important things!! :) I'm excited to hear how it goes! Good luck!
