Yes, I went to Breaking Dawn... Midnight Edition

Thanks to my sweet friend, Kelsey I borrowed some pictures of our Breaking Dawn outing.
The girls went to Pizzeria 712 for dinner and ate delicious pizza, flatbread and hummas.
Then we headed over to the theatre and I gave the girls some goody bags filled with
Type A Blood: Shasta
Werewolf Treats: Cookies
Blood Straws: Licorice
Vampire Ice: Mints
Vampire Diet Food: Beef Jerky
Red Hot Werewolf Snack: Fireballs

Click here to see the cutouts.

The movie itself was well... 'Eh' to say the least. Honestly, I was kinda bored.
Too many 'pondering' shots. I wanted to click the fast forward button.
BUT being with all these fun girls was the highlight of my night.

Thanks everyone! (Kelsey, Gentri, Mckenna, Nicole, NOT PICTURED: Kirsten, Alexis)
Love you all!

Hocus! Pocus!

Words can't even express to you how EXCITED I am for Halloween.
I was super lucky to get to go to my mom's house and bring my friend, Gentri to make carmelled apples.

Yum!

We had the soundtrack to Disney's Haunted Mansion and Nightmare Before Christmas playing to put us in the mood.

Oh and when you pull up, the great and powerful EYE was there to greet you.

And Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King was there of course!

 Brains anyone?

 Gentri was super excited we had Winnifred Sanderson's Spell Book!
Dont worry. We didnt open it. :)

We had so much fun! After we made apples, I showed Gentri around the house and especially showed her the Peter Pan room.

We are still in the process of getting it done, but its gonna be magical!

We try to make the house look like Disneyland...

What do you think? Pirates of the Caribbean?
Cuz thats what we're going for.
:)

After that, we turned on our favorite Halloween Movie,
Hocus Pocus

We giggled and quoted almost the entire thing because we are cool like that.
Good times.

Oh! Before I run, funny story for you!
Hmmm... Nah. On second thought, I'll save that for later!
Keep you wanting more!
Bwahahaha!
Happy Halloween!

The Holiday

It feels a bit blasphemous to speak of Christmas BEFORE Halloween has even come,
but I am just too excited not to post about this!
Have you seen this terriffic movie?

Remember how Cameron and Kate swapped houses for the Holiday?

Well my family is doing a house swap for Christmas this year!
What exactly does that mean?
Well I shall tell you!
It means that we are going to fly out to FLORDIA
{ok its not as magical far away as Surrey, England; but we get to be on a BEACH on CHRISTMAS!}
And it WILL be magical because we will get to go to Disney World AND Harry Potter Land!
We will stay in a house 5 minutes from Disney and Universal. And they will be coming here to go skiing and have a white Christmas. Everyone should have at least one Christmas on the beach OR in the snow.
Dont ya think?
Can I get a Whoot whoot?
It will be really fun.

````````````````````````````````````````
So remember this post? Well I am gonna blog about it again...
:)
Awkward Years {Awkward AND Awesome Thursdays}
I dont know how thiscame up last night, but my hubberz and I were talking and the topic came up about the good old days I used to spend at Classic Skating as a hottie boomalottie 4th grader.
Oh wait, scratch that, I DO remember how the topic came up, Gavin started singing that song about the girl who cries a river and drowns the whole world... You know that one right?
{Google doesnt know who sang it though... Its either 3 Doors Down or Nine Days}
ANYWAY! He was singing that song and it totally brought me back to the time I used to spend all night at Classic Skating.
Oh man were those good times.
It seems like for 4 straight years in elementary school, that is all I did.
And of COURSE the "Snowball" was my favorite part.
One particular time stood out from the rest. There I was... A scrawny 4th grader. It was a school activity so I was with some girls from my class. Finally, it was the snowball and we all hurried to OUR side of the rink to anxiously wait for a cute boy to ask us to skate while we hold hands.
At the time, I had a big crush on a kid in my class, Mark. He was sooooo cute. The music had started and I was looking for him and hoping he'd come ask me.
{Yeah right, once he heard it was the snowball, he high tailed it out of there-can you blame him?}
I was surrounded from the girls in my class and they kept talking about this cuuuuute 6th grader that kept skating by.
I didnt care. I wanted Mark.
But Mr. 6th Grader kept skating by and just when I had given up on Mark, the cute 6th grade boy pulls up and asks if I wanted to skate with him. ME!!!
I was shocked. I didnt even really think he was cute, but one look at all the other girls jealous faces and I was smitten.
{Power of suggestion eh?}
So I blushed and took his hand and we skated for the rest of the song.
Sigh... Good times.
If you think about it, Snowballs are super awkward. Okay, lets turn on a semi love song and make these young kids have a heart attack while they anxiously wait to skate with someone.
THEN! When they do get asked, they skate around not talking, not looking at each other and are too embarrassed when their hands get sweaty to wipe them off.
THEN! There is that constant panic going on in their heads just as the song is ending;
"What do I do now?! Do I say thank you? Do I give him a hug? A handshake?!"
I am pretty sure I said thank you really quietly after Mr. 6th Grader and my skating session but it was too loud to be heard.
He probably thought I was wacko. Hey, he didnt say anything though!
Oh the awkward ages! I think mine started in 4th grade and lasted until my senior year...
Did you ever go to Classic Skating? Any good stories to tell?
I have a facebook page! Go clickity click right.... here and like me!
{PLEASE LIKE ME, WHY DONT YOU LIKE ME?! This is said in my boy crazy 4th grade voice.}
OH! And remember THIS post about Guilty Pleasures of.... gulp...
Twilight?
Go read it now and if you are in the Utah area and want to go with us to the midnight showing coming up on November 18, Let me know!!! Its gonna be a par-tay!
PS. I have a new neice as of yesterday!
Isnt she PRECIOUS!? Look at those cheeks! This is Aleia (Pronounced uh-lay-uh}
7lbs 14oz, 19 inches
So cute!
Yes, I am bragging. :)
Guilty Pleasures
I was talking to my new friend, Kylee and we were playing around with the idea of a group of us girls going to go see this at the midnight showing:
First off, I have some confessions...
1) Of COURSE I was am a huge fan. But it was BEFORE the movies.
Something about Kristen Stewart and Robert Patterson drive me bonkers.
2) I still cant help seeing the movies
3) I dont do well in midnight showings, I am a wussy. But I am willing to do it!
Plus it would be fun with a bunch of girls. ;)
4) I have been known to drag the hubberz along to these movies and I honestly think he'd rather shoot himself in the foot than be seen watching 'Sparkling Vampires" {But he will do it for me. Aw!!!} I will try to spare him this year.
5) I honestly thought I would make a better Bella thank K-Stew.
{Who doesnt?}
6) And this may be the most embarassing of all... In high school, Twilight was not quite the 'craze' but I took bits and pieces from New Moon and put them into a monologue and performed it in front of the whole school at an assembly. Yeah... Em-barassing. Hey, I did get Sterling Scholar in Speech and Drama because of it. So I guess thats good.
{By the way, I killed it! Eat it, Kristen!}
7) Aaaaand... I think it would be really fun.
If you would be interested in going to the midnight showing to Breaking Dawn with a few crazy blogger girls, email me at lauren_e_jones{at}yahoo.com ASAP so I can get a count going!
It will be epic!!!
Is it Normal?
Is it normal to feel like I love these girls already? :)
We had our little blogger meet up this weekend and it was lovely! So many girls worked so hard to make it happen and it was oh so much fun! I was sad I didnt get to meet everyone {Time flew by too fast!} But every girl there was so sweet and so amazing! It kind of felt like I was meeting a bunch of celebrities, because I follow their blogs and know so much about them, but never really met them in real life. :) I was star-struck. :) Dear Lizzy's Boutique was so kind to let us play there and admire their decor. {LOVE} I cant wait to do another one of these so I can get to know them all better. They are all such lovely women. I admire and look up to each and every one of them. :) Thanks you guys!
xoxo
PS. thanks for letting me steal  borrow some pictures you guys! My darn camera wasnt working!
